Water Pump O-Ring

The water pump O-ring takes the place of the water pump gasket on some vehicles. This O-ring seals the coolant chamber of the water pump to the block. If you notice a leak around your water pump, especially when the car is running, your O-ring may be damaged. When installing a new water pump or replacing your old water pump O-ring, make sure and apply lubrication to the O-ring.
