Glow Plug Wiring Harness

In vehicles with diesel engines, glow plugs are used to heat the air and fuel mixture in the cylinder to help ignite the fuel in colder temperatures. A diesel glow plug wiring harness attaches the glow plug to the glow plug controller and the ECU, which monitors the air-fuel density and temperature to automatically adjust glow plug heat and intensity so the engine can start and run smoothly. If you notice white exhaust smoke, poor engine performance, or that your diesel engine is especially hard to start in colder temperatures, check the glow plugs, controller, and wiring harness for damage or corrosion.
