Clamps

An exhaust clamp joins the exhaust pipe to catalytic converters and mufflers and secures them without welding. Over time, your exhaust clamp can wear and break down. Once broken, the clamp can't be repaired and must be replaced. A broken or loose exhaust clamp can damage the exhaust pipes or mufflers. If your exhaust clamp and pipe are broken, you will want to replace both as soon as possible. If both are broken, you may experience misfires, backfires, or exhaust system leaks.
