Coolant Outlet Flange

A coolant outlet flange provides a path for coolant to travel throughout the cooling system. They often have a multitude of outlets that send coolant to the radiator, heater core, or other parts of the cooling system. A coolant outlet flange is similar to a thermostat housing outlet where it may only have a single outlet, but are used in areas without a thermostat. Most outlet flanges are made of plastic or cast metal, and can crack or corrode over time.
