Making sure your controls are set to adjust your driver’s side mirror, make adjustments until you can see the road or driveway behind you at the bottom of the mirror… and be sure that the side of the vehicle is barely visible on the right-hand side of the mirror. Having your vehicle at the edge of the reflection will give you a steady point of reference for what you’re seeing in the mirror relative to your vehicle.
